Samantha has received widespread praise for her brilliant portrayal of a tough woman Vembu in 'Super Deluxe' directed by Thiagarajan Kumaraja and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Fazil. She has more reason to enjoy as the trailer of her next movie 'Majili' has become a huge hit after its release. The film is the first one starring Sam and her husband Naga Chaitanya after their marriage and also has Divyansha Kaushik in the cast.

Samantha walked all the way to Tirupati temple taking 3500 steps from Alipiri to Tirumala at midnight to pray for the success of 'Majili' which is hitting the screens on April 5th. Fans mobbed Sam at the temple even at that odd hours and requested selfies but she politely declined explaining to them why she has come up and asked them to respect her privacy. Naga Chaitanya took a car and met his wife at the temple and both prayed together.
