Samantha Ruth Prabhu has made a surprise move. She has been onboarded for a special song in 'Pushpa'. The 'Majili' and 'Oh! Baby' sensation will be shaking a leg with Icon Star Allu Arjun, who is known for excellent dances.

The 'Family Man 2' actress' decision to go for a so-called item song has come as a surprise for her fans. Since she is essaying distinct roles in the meaningful cinema of late, headlining the likes of 'Shaakuntalam', nobody expected that she would be doing a special song. But since the movie is 'Pushpa' and she has known Bunny for many years, Sam accepted the offer.

The buzz is that Sam was not the first choice. At least two other big names were considered before the 'Attarintiki Daredi' actress was zeroed in on.

The song will be shot in the third or fourth week of November. Director Sukumar and composer Devi Sri Prasad are coming equipped with a superb tune for the Sam-Bunny number.

The film, whose heroine is Rashmika Mandanna, has Fahadh Faasil as a cop. Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj are reportedly playing an evil couple. Dhanunjay has a key role. The actioner will hit the screens on December 17 in multiple languages.
