Samantha to replace Nayanthara in the racy thriller?

One of the rare films to get both the critics and the audiences raving about it is Thani Oruvan` which had a near perfect screenplay, impeccable acting , high production values and slick direction.

The Telugu remake is produced by D.V.V. Dannayya and directed by Surendar Reddy with young superstar Ram Charan Teja reprising Jayam Ravi`s role.

Sources reveal that the team is very keen on casting Samantha in the lead heroine`s role played to perfection b y Nayanthara in the Tamil version. Right now Samantha has her hands full with many high profile projects in Tamil and Telugu and it is believed that she will indeed be a part of this project if she is able to squeeze in the necessary dates.
