Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be speaking at the upcoming International Film Festival of India in Goa. The event will be held from November 20-28. Reportedly, the 'Majili' and 'Oh! Baby' superstar is the first south Indian actress to be invited as a speaker at IFFI.

The actress might touch upon the issue of how she has been hurt by incessant gossip about her personal life in an oblique way during the speech. Recently, she went against two YouTube channels and a Hyderabad-based doctor by seeking defamation. Samantha has taken umbrage over the baseless rumours ever since her divorce with Naga Chaitanya became official news a few weeks ago. 

Last month, the 'Attarintiki Daredi' damsel went on pilgrimage, visiting Gangotri, Yamunotri and other places in Uttarakhand. On Dasara last month, Sam announced two new movies. One of them is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual to be helmed by Shantaruban Gnanasekaran, while the other one is helmed by Hari and Harish. As for Gunasekhar's 'Shaakuntalam', its release date will be announced soon.
