'Yashoda', starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead, is hitting the screens on a grand scale on November 11 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Its trailer will be dropped later on Thursday.

The titular character, played by the 'Majili' actress, will be seen as a pregnant woman in the survival thriller. What has been kept under the wraps hitherto is that she is a surrogate mother in the movie. The concept of surrogacy is emerging in mainstream entertainment these days. It's a pretty popular theme now. 

The surrogacy element would have been ideally hidden till the movie's release usually. But since the makers are confident about Yashoda's thrilling story, they are revealing it much earlier. Moreover, these days, holding onto an important element might be counter-productive when the audience are smart enough to make reasonable guesses. 

Directors Hari and Harish are kicked about how the survival thriller has shaped up. The film has got the likes of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj in key roles. Unni Mukundan, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma are part of the cast. The film's fights are by Venkat and Yannic Ben.
