When is Samantha joining 'Vijay 61'?

The shooting of Ilayathalapathy's Vijay 61' directed by Atlee is currently about 65 percent complete with Vijay playing triple roles. The scenes involving Nithya Menen who is playing the father Vijay's pair is completed and currently the younger Vijay who plays a doctor along with Kajal Agarwal are being shot in Europe.

In June scenes involving the third Vijay who plays a magician will begin and Samantha who is playing his pair will also join. With this schedule in Chennai the shooting will be over and post production work will begin aiming for a Diwali 2017 release.
