Samantha's 'Shaakuntalam' new trailer gives an immersive experience!

Samantha's magnum opus mythological drama, 'Shaakuntalam', is coming to the silver screens on April 14. The promotions are in full swing for the Pan-Indian 3D film's release. As the release date is getting closer, the team dropped a new trailer for the movie, which is now going viral.
Shaakuntalam is an adaptation of renowned playwright Kalidasaâs Sanskrit play, âAbhijnana Shakuntalamâ. It depicts the epic love story of Shakuntala (Samantha) and King Drushyanta (Dev Mohan) from Mahabharata. The film is directed by Gunasekhar. Samantha's portrayal of Shakuntala seems to be the most valuable asset of the upcoming movie.
The 1.5-minute release trailer gives an immersive experience with pleasing visuals and an enthralling background score. Telugu star Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha is making her acting debut in this film. The technical team includes Mani Sharma as the music composer, Shekar V Joseph as the cinematographer and Prawin Pudi as the editor.
