Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been great friends with a particular Tollywood filmmaker. No prizes for guessing that it's Nandini Reddy. On Friday, as the 'Oh! Baby' filmmaker turned a year older, the 'Jaanu' and 'Rangasthalam' actress wrote a heart-touching birthday note.

The actress spoke of how the 'Ala Modalandi' director helped her during a very tough phase back in 2012. "Your innate goodness is your greatness. You inspire me! I remember it like it was yesterday, the year was 2012, and I was not keeping well and my self-confidence was at an all-time low. I was reluctant to go back to work," Sam wrote.

The 'Majili' actress then added, "You came every day to check in on me, took the time out of your packed schedule and planned a test shoot with me to give me my confidence back. I will never forget how I got back to work the very next day."

The post just goes to show that Nandini and Sam are each other's besties.
