Now, the exciting update is that the shooting portions for Samantha has been finally wrapped up. So it could be said that the film is one step closer to the finish line. Reportedly Samantha essays the character of ‘Madhuravani’ in this most awaited biopic.

‘Nadigaiyar Thilagam’ is being directed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film which will release for Telugu audience as ‘Mahanati’ is all slated to hit the screens coming May 9.
