Samantha out of Mani Ratnam's film

There is something common between Samantha and her Dookudu co-star, Mahesh Babu. Both have had Mani Ratnam knocking on their doors, but they have eventually ended up not acting in his films. The reason is common  dates problem.
The news that Samantha is out of Mani Ratnam's Kadhal may be difficult to digest for her fans! The actress's calendar is choc-a-bloc with many schedules. It is learnt that the makers of Kadhal are on a hunt for her replacement.
It goes without saying that Samantha has lost an opportunity to work with a filmmaker of class.
