Samantha opposite Dhanush in 'Vada Chennai'?

Samantha, who is sharing the screen space with Dhanush in 'VIP 2', is tipped to be the heroine of 'Vada Chennai', a film that would bring together success combo Dhanush and director Vetrimaaran again.

Originally planned with STR in the lead, 'Vada Chennai' was put on hold due to undisclosed reasons. And now, Vetrimaaran is planning to revive the project, with his 'Aadukalam' and 'Polladhavan' protagonist.

"Samantha is likely to be the heroine of the movie, which would have music by G V Prakash Kumar. Shooting will begin in September and an official announcement will be made soon," sources said.
