It's known that Samantha Akkineni is doing the remake of a Korean movie. It has been directed by Nandini Reddy. Naga Shaurya has a key supporting role in this exciting project. Titled 'O Baby Yentha Sakkagunnave', the film sees Samantha's character as an old woman who mysteriously metamorphoses into a 20-year-old woman.
The director had planned to use prosthetics and all to make Samantha look like a 70-year-old woman. However, either due to technical issues or creative aspects, she has changed her mind. Nandini now wants to cast someone else to play the old woman. While the younger version will be Sam, the elderly woman will most likely be played by the versatile Lakshmi. This may just make it easy to complete the movie. The budget too may well come down. D Suresh Babu is co-producing the entertainer with another producer.
This change is radical. The film is expected to release in May or June.
