In 2017, Nayanthara had starred in the horror flick Dora, which was directed by Doss Ramasamy and also starred Harish Uthaman, Thambi Ramaiah, and the movie was produced by director Sarkunam. The movie revolved around a car possessed by a spirit waiting for revenge.

Dora was not a commercially successful outing, and now the latest update is that its director Doss Ramasamy has bagged his second project. As per speculations Doss Ramasamy might yet again direct a female centric subject and that this project will feature Samantha in lead role.

While an official announcement is awaited on this speculation, Samantha has been having a great run so far this year, as her Tollywood release Majili co-starring her husband Naga Chaitanya was a blockbuster and her Tamil release Super Deluxe won her great reviews for her performance.
