Star actresses coming together to back films is not so rare. What if two of talented female actors wish to join hands for a film? We are talking about Samantha Ruth Prabhu and 'Sita Ramam' beauty Mrunal Thakur.

The other day, taking to social media, Mrunal wrote that she can't wait to watch 'Shaakuntalam' (to be released in theatres on April 14) and that she would like to team up with the 'Rangasthalam' and 'Majili' actress. "Can’t wait to watch Shaakuntalam! You’re so inspiring Sam. My question to you is when are we working on a film together?" the 'Jersey' (Hindi) actress wrote.

The 'Citadel' and 'Kushi' actress played ball. Congratulating Mrunal on the Hindi film 'Gumraah', Sam tweeted, "Let’s do it.. love the idea!!"

Sam personally admires the filmography of Nayanthara. It now seems that she also likes the talented Mrunal.

'Shaakuntalam', directed by Gunasekhar, is presented by Dil Raju. Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kushi' with Sam will hit the screens on December 22 this year.
