Samantha most dedicated, says Mahesh

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,August 19 2011]

It is rare to see our usually diplomatic stars singling out one heroine or another for lavish praise. Mahesh Babu did the unthinkable in his speech at the audio launch of Dookudu by praising Samantha, his co-star, as the most dedicated co-star he has ever worked with. Samantha, who was on the stage, was found accepting Mahesh's compliment with a shy smile.

Usually, our stars answer questions about their past and current co-stars by cleverly saying that they found every one talented and fun to work with. Though we will never know their true favourites, stars do now and then speak their mind openly.

It was the turn of Mahesh now. However, when the stars praise a particular director/producer/actor, it is usually meant to defeat the media propaganda/rumours that trouble had been brewing between them.

However, Mahesh praised the beautiful actress even though there had been no compulsion or need.

Ravi Teja in a 'mass entertainer'

Whenever a Ravi Teja film is announced, one question that is invariably answered by the makers even before anyone puts them is whether the subject has the trappings of a mass entertainer. So was the case when Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna announced a film, to be directed by Shiva (of Shouryam).
