Samantha might be Tolly's girl

Though the first film she had signed was a Tamil film, probably Samantha might become an A-list heroine in Tollywood, rather than Kollywood. Given that she has received rave reviews for her Yemaya Chesave act, it quite seem so. More, she is now acting opposite a big star like Junior NTR, in Brindavanam.

Samantha, whose ancestors were Telugus, has been receiving offers from the Telugu directors by dime a dozen. Though it is the Dil Raju production alone that she has so far signed, another film with Mahesh Babu is also on the way, if the grapevine is to be believed. (We know that Indira, Mahesh's sister, made a statement to this effect, recently).

Though details of who is coming with offers for her are not yet known, it seems that the girl is liking the professional environment here in Tollywood. In fact, she is trying to gain knowledge of the Telugu industry, though it was only a Nagarjuna or such hugely popular male stars whom she had known till recently.

The model-turned-actress would not have acted in YC, hadn't she received three calls for audition, even after she did not respond to two calls, from its director Gautham Menon. Though shivers went down the spine of the fledgling actress when she gave the audition, she wowed the director and everyone around with her performance.

If some of the observers find her a combination of the voluptuous Sushmitha Sen and the cuddly-cute Ayesha Takia, you can't disagree with them!
