Actress Samantha is on cloud nine as her recent release 'Theri' in which she has paired up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay has acquired a record breaking opening across the globe. Sammu has played Mithra a doctor and the wife of Vijay and she has also dubbed for the first time in Tamil for this film. This has won her a great deal of appreciation from fans as well as critics.

Samantha's next release will be '24' the mega budget sci-fi flick in which she has paired up with Suriya. the film is all set to hit the screens on May 6 in Tamil and Telugu languages.

After acting with Vijay and Suriya, Samantha is presently busy shooting for 'Brahmotsavam' with Tollywood star Mahesh Babu. This is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film directed by Srikanth Addala. Samantha plays one of the three heroines, the other two being Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subash.

Mickey J Meyer and Mani Sharma have doine the musical score for this mega-budget project. Now it has been officially confirmed that the audio launch function is all set to happen on May 1 which is a big day in Tamil Nadu as the day marks the birthday of Thala Ajith Kumar.

'Brahmotsavam' is being produced by Mahesh Babu's home banner and PVP Cinemas on a mammoth budget.
