An air of optimism surrounds Samantha Ruth Prabhu bagging 'Citadel', the Amazon Prime Video web show. The star actress will start shooting for the prestigious show soon.
Soon after the makers put out her still from the show on Wednesday, actor-director Rahul Ravindran raised a toast to her. In a tweet, he took stock of Samantha's journey in the film industry over the years. "Vividly remember how her journey started… to now seeing the Russo Brothers (they are associated with 'Citadel') welcoming her onboard their project. Not even going to attempt to put this feeling into words. So proud (sic)," the 'Andala Rakshasi' actor and 'Chi La Sow' maker tweeted.
Quote-tweeting the same, Chinmayi Sripada wrote, "Samantha is the queen. That’s all." As is known, the playback singer is Sam's dubbing artist for the most number of movies. Sam is also good friends with the couple. On her part, Sam tweeted that not her but Chinmayi is the queen.
Earlier today, Manchu Manoj tweeted that the 'Shaakuntalam' actress is back in style. "Congratulations Machi on collaborating with the legendary #RussoBrothers on their Indian installment of #Citadel & You surely are making us all proud. Best wishes to the entire team (sic)," he wrote.
Sam will also start shooting for Vijay Deverakonda's 'Khushi' soon.
