Gautham Vasudev Menon is all praise for Samantha, the heroine of his trilingual Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu. The actress has improved a lot when compared to her performance in Ye Maya Chesave, the director said on the occasion of his new film’s curtain raiser ceremony held in Hyderabad.

The big daddy of love stories, whose films intersperse a soothing romance in crime stories, prophesied that Samantha's performance will be talked about in the film for long. She is having to do every scene thrice since the movie is being made in three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Having worked with the Harris Jayraj and AR Rehman in the past, the director is enthusiastic about Ilayaraja’s music. The maestro has elevated the film to a new level. It has been great working with him, the filmmaker says.

With Jiiva playing the lead role in the Tamil version, Nani in Telugu and Aditya Roy Kapoor in Hindi, the movie will be keenly watched for drawing comparisons, among other things. The shooting is nearing completion and an audio launch function will be held soon.
