Director Vignesh Shivan's upcoming film is 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal' featuring the most-wanted south Indian stars Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara in the lead roles. It is a rom-com with a triangular love story produced by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios.

Today, the makers dropped the first look posters of the respective stars as announced yesterday. While VJS' look was revealed in the morning, Samantha's character poster just landed on the internet. The production house presented Samantha as Khatija with a stylish poster. Releasing the poster the makers wrote, "Presenting #Khatija @Samanthaprabhu2 from #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal"

Samantha was seen in a voguish black attire in a nightclub set up in the first look. Lady Superstar Nayanthara's first look is expected to arrive in style by this evening. Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal marks the 25th film landmark for the young Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander.

Samantha and Nayanthara are sharing screen space in a film for the first time in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Sreekar Prasad takes care of the editing while Vijay Karthik Kannan cranks the camera. The producers have officially announced that the movie will hit the screens on December 2021.
