In a recent Facebook post, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's father Joseph Prabhu turned emotional about his daughter's divorce from Naga Chaitanya.

Putting out a few photos from the celeb duo's wedding and a few other occasions, Prabhu wrote, "LONG LONG AGO, THERE WAS A STORY AND IT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE!!! SO, LET'S START A NEW STORY; AND A NEW CHAPTER!!!"

In the comments section, Prabhu also suggested that he spent long and lonely moments feeling sad about his daughter's divorce. Turning philosophical, he wrote, "LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO SIT DOWN WITH FEELINGS & GET BOGGED DOWN."

On the work front, after 'Thank You', Chaitanya is doing a Telugu-Tamil bilingual directed by Venkat Prabhu. His 'Dhootha' on Amazon Prime Video will come out next year.

As for Sam, she has an impressive lineup of films that include 'Shaakunthalam', 'Yashoda' (its teaser will be out on Sept 9), Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kushi', 'Citadel', and 'Arrangements Of Love'. She was recently in the news over false rumours that her health is not fine. Reportedly, Sam is going to take legal action against rumour-mongers.
