Samantha is currently one of the leading actresses in the south Indian film industry and she is also gaining accolades in Bollywood after her strong performance in the Hindi web series 'The Family Man'. Now, she has penned a beautiful note on reaching 12 years in her cinema journey.

Today marks 12 years since Samantha made her debut in Indian cinema. Samantha made her acting debut as a minor character in Simbu & Trisha's 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya', which was released on February 26, 2010. She then played the female lead in VTV's Telugu remake 'Ye Maaya Chesave' in the same year.

The pretty actress won acclaim for her performances in Baana Kaathadi (2010), Moscowin Kaveri (2010), Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012) and Naan Ee (2012). Then, Samantha starred opposite top actors in films like Thalapathy Vijay's 'Theri', Suriya's 'Anjaan', Chiyaan Vikram's '10 Endrathukulla' and Sivakarthikeyan's 'Seema Raja' to become a leading star.

Samantha is a recipient of several awards including four Filmfare Awards South, six South Indian International Movie Awards and two Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards. She is set to make her international debut with Arrangements of Love, a Philip John directorial. Now, Samantha's latest post on her 12-year film journey has gone viral on the internet.

Sharing a captivating photo of herself, the South Queen wrote, "Today marks my 12th year in the Film Industry. It’s been 12 years of memories that revolve around Lights, Camera, action and incomparable moments. I am filled with gratitude for having had this blessed journey and the best, most loyal fans in the world ! (sic)"
