South beauty Samantha Akkineni is known to put her best fashion foot forward, be it at the promotional events or at the airport. She is known for making style statements with her unconventional looks, Years ago she proved that she is a big-time trendsetter when it comes to fashion.

Samantha already has five piercings in her ears and recently got her cartilage pierced. In a quick question and answer session on Instagram, sam opened up about how painful her experience was and how long it took for her to heal.

Samantha said I am so glad somebody asked. I need to explain my pain. This took six months to heel. I don't know why I did it but it takes forever." About Vignesh Shivan, Sam responded by saying, "he's made a wonderful film. Put his heart and soul into this film. And I pray this film is a big success for him."

She is currently shooting for her first Pan Inda film Yashoda. A huge set was erected recently to shoot some crucial scenes for the film. She is also waiting for the release of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
