Samantha confirms being part of this popular remake

Top heroine Samantha's latest release 'Mersal' has turned out to be one of the all time best blockbusters. The actress has now completed 'Irumbu Thirai' with Vishal and also shooting for 'Super Deluxe' directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. 

Now Samantha has confirmed a long time speculation that she will be acting in the remake of Kannad film 'U Turn'. The 'Theri' actress has just confirmed that she will be playing the lead role in the Tamil and Telugu remake of the Supernatural thriller 'U Turn' directed by Pawan Kumar of 'Lucia' fame. The remakes are to be produced by Pawan Films. The details about the director and other cast and crew members will be out soon.The shoot is expected to begin in February 2018.

Shraddha Srinath played the lead role of a journalist, in Kannada original.
