For actress Samantha 2015 has not been as great as the previous year as far as box office success is concerned. In Tamil '10 Endrathukulla' with Vikram and 'Thangamagan' Dhanush did not fetch the desired results at the box office. Her only Telugu film 'Son of Sathyamurthy' with Allu Arjun ended up as a average grosser.
But the young and promising actress has some great projects to look up to in the year 2016. She plays the lady lead opposite Vijay in 'Theri' and Suriya in '24' and both these biggies are expected to hit the screens around summer 2016. In Telugu she has paired up again with Mahesh Babu for the mega budget project 'Brahmothsavam'.
Recently Samantha has confirmed her being part of director Vetrimaran's 'Vada Chennai' which will be made in two parts with Dhanush playing the lead role. Samantha will play a slum dweller from north Chennai in this film. The cute actress also confirmed that she has started getting trained to get the accent and body language to suit the character she will be playing in this film and she believes this will be a path-breaking film in her acing career
