Famous actor and the entire movie team pull a surprise prank on Samantha on her birthday!

We all know that the south queen Samantha turned 35 yesterday. Fans enjoyed her latest film ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ and made the day more special with their fanmade edits and tributes. Meanwhile, the gorgeous actress celebrated her birthday on the sets of her next untitled film starring Vijay Deverakonda in Kashmir. 

Tentatively called ‘VD11’, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are currently working on a movie under Shiva Nirvana’s direction. Yesterday, Vijay Deverakonda and the team of VD 11 surprised Samantha on this special occasion by pulling a prank on her. The makers released a full video of the prank, Samantha’s reaction, cake cutting and celebration in the shooting spot. 

In the video, the cast and crew wrote and rehearsed a fake scene to surprise Samantha at 12 am. Then, the director shouts “action” and Samantha starts delivering a lengthy dialogue without flaws. Vijay Deverakonda reveals that it is a prank while Samantha is performing the scene with tears in her eyes. Samantha bursts into laughter and realises that it was a surprise prank pulled by the whole team. 

Then, the whole cast and crew wished Sam and she cut the cake. ‘VD11’ also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini and Vennela Kishore among others. It has music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab and cinematography helmed by G Murali, produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
