In the New Year, Samantha is letting her moves clearly known to others. Only the other day, she was said to be starting pre-production works on the remake of the Kannada entertainer 'U-Turn'. Wearing the producer's hat for that movie, she will also be acting in Nag Ashwin's biopic on Mahanati Savithri.

Latest, she has bagged a big-ticket project. It's the Sukumar-Ram Charan entertainer, which will be a village-based rom-com casting the Mega Power Star as a deaf guy. It's not known whether Samantha has stepped into the shoes of Anupama Parameswaran, who was shown the door recently, or the other lead actress' role. This is the third outing for Samantha with the stars in the Mega camp, the first two being 'Attarintiki Daredi' and 'S/o Sathyamurthy'.

The film will be launched on Jan 30th, a day after her engagement to Naga Chaitanya. Incidentally, her fiance too will have a film launch on the crucial day. The couple are yet to get married and they are rocking it professionally!
