Samantha at 12: 'I am filled with gratitude'

'Ye Maya Chesave', the maiden venture of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was released on 26 February 2010. Marking the film's completion of 12 years, the 'Shaakuntalam' actress today took to social media and said that she is blessed to have had a great journey in the film industry.

"Today marks my 12th year in the Film Industry. It’s been 12 years of memories that revolve around Lights, Camera, action and incomparable moments," he wrote.

The actress is more than thrilled to have reached this stage. "I am filled with gratitude for having had this blessed journey and the best, most loyal fans in the world!," the pretty actress, known for excellent hits such as 'Attarintiki Daredi' and 'Oh! Baby' wrote.

Sam will next be seen in 'Shaakuntalam', which is written and directed by Guansekhar. Presented by Dil Raju, the film's post-production works are on. Last December, Sam was onboarded for an international film titled 'Arrangements of Love'. Philip John is directing it. 'Yashoda', a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, has also been shot. Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are also doing the drama.
