Vijay's 'Theri' heroines deeply concerned about Chennai

Actress Samantha a top heroine of South Indian cinema is a Chennai native girl and she has always taken pride in identifying her with Chennai city.
The pretty actress whose next film in Tamil would be 'Theri' with Ilayathalapathy Vijay has expressed concern about the severe rains and floods that has shaken the Chennai city.
Further the actress who is currently shooting for a Telugu film in Vijayawada has said that she is struggling to get in touch with her parents and close family members residing in Chennai and she yet to speak with any of them due to network connectiviy issues.
Samantha has stated that she could not sleep for the past one week as many of her family members and friends are stuck and suffering in Chennai floods.
The actress well known for her philanthropic activities has appealed to all Chennaiites to do their bit in rescuing and rehabilitation of victims of the deluge.
Meanwhile, actress Amy Jackson, who plays the other heroine role in 'Theri' is presently shooting for the Atlee directed flick with Vijay in Goa. She has expressed her concern for the Chennai flood victims in her micro blogging page as follows.
