We already reported to you that Samantha is planning to take a break from films and concentrate on her health and come back stronger for a second inning. Now it looks like the news is all true as the recent tweet of Amazon prime has caused a stir among Sam fans.

Few months ago, it was confirmed that Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu will team up for the Indian version of the spy thriller web series “Citadel”, and both will be seen as spies in this action bonanza.

Recently Amazon Prime officially shared the look of Varun Dhawan from the series and announced his arrival, also saying that the shoot starts in Jan 2023. But then, though they have tagged Varun, the makers Raj-DK, and other techniques as well as creative teammates of the show, nowhere they tagged Samantha officially.

Samantha was recently diagnosed with myositis and might need the rest for recovery before doing super stunts on the sets. As of now, there is no news on who will replace Samantha in the series.
