Samantha is one of the evergreen heroines of South cinema who has a huge fan following and is active on social media. Sam married her long-time beau Naga Chaitanya on October 7th 2017 and ever since that the question that she faces often is when they are going to have a baby.

Samantha who is known for her humorous outlook has posted a reply on Instagram " “To all those people who are interested in knowing about functions of my body, I would like to tell you that my baby will be arriving on 7th of August, at 7 am 2022."

Samantha's next release is the Telugu remake of '96' directed by Premkumar which has her taking on the female lead role played by Trisha in Tamil with Sharwanand reprising the character of Vijay Sethupathi. She is also playing a negative role in a multilingual web series that will stream in early 2020.
