Samantha gets frank about casting couch in film industry

The exixtence of the casting couch in film industries right from Tollywood to Hollywood has been an hot topic all across the globe especially after Harvey Weinstein's downfall because of that and Sri Reddy's nude protest against it in Hyderabad. Samantha who is on a promotional tour of her soon to be released 'Nadigaiyar Thilagam' was asked by pressmen regarding her experiences.
Samantha said that demanding sexual favors from women is happening in every industry across the world and there are a few black sheeps in South India too who need to be identified and exposed. However the 'Mersal' heroine said that in her eight years of experience in Tamil and Telugu industries she has never come across such incidents personally. Sam also said that there are very good people in the film field and it is one of the safest environment for women to work in.
