‘Samakalikam,’ a short film directed by Safwan K Bava mainly depicts the lonely young lady who marooned on the road at midnight. The young actress Gayathri Suresh who rose to fame through ‘Jamna Pyari' has played the protagonist in the movie. The movie also has the tagline 'Nokkunnathalla Kaanunnathu,' or 'you don't see what you look for’. The main character

in the short film portrayed as facing a problem when her two-wheeler breaks down while travelling to her hostel, after a birthday party. Two strangers offers her help her but she is in a dilemma on trusting the men and array of incidents forms the plot of the short movie.
