It is true that there is a dearth of youthful rom-coms these days. Almost all hits in recent years have belonged to larger-than-life genres, period dramas, etc.

For a change, Sree Vishnu is up for a youthful role in 'Samajavaragamana'. Directed by Ram Abbaraju and produced by Razesh Danda of Hasya Movies and Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments, the film is about what happens when a young male's heart is broken by a Rakhi 'sister' he had fallen for. The incident haunts him for the rest of his adolescence and adulthood.

Starring Reba Monica John as the female lead, the film has Vennela Kishore in a separate track. The hero, for a change, works in a theatre.

Sreekanth Iyengar has a key role. Written by Bhanu Bogavarapu (story) and Nandu Savirigana (dialogues), the film has music by Gopi Sundar. The film will likely hit the screens on May 18.
