Sam Billings comes with the reputation of a monster hitter and is an exciting addition to the new look Chenani Super Kings.  He has a very long history of cricket having started playing for Kent Cricket Club at the age of just eight and continuing for the next sixteen years to first become the vice captain and now the captain.

Billings, who is a very well respected wicket keeper in the England ranks also is adept in tennis, squash, racquets and rugby.  He is involved in a lot of charitable activities to support cricket among the unfortunate and is a patron of cricket in Rwanda and also played a T20 match there for the opening ceremony of its first cricket stadium.

In IPL Sam Billings has played only six matches for Delhi Daredevils and has a modest 55 as highest score.  Dhoni probably saw his batting skills during a England tour match in Mumbai in 2017 when Billings scored 93 coming first down.  CSK could well give the 26 year old an opportunity to showcase what he is capable of and he can rest assured under the captainship of MSD.
