'Most creative person I have ever met. True Genius' says Ramesh Aravind the gentleman hero and director who captured his mentor K Balachander in Utthama Villan` Tamil cinema. Ramesh Aravind sent an SMS message to this correspondent on the passing of genius K Balachander on Tuesday.

With over 100 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, KB is ever green director and he has introduced a number of artists and technicians who are on top gear today.

Besides legendary Dr Kamal Haasan, Rajanikanth, Prakash Raj, Ramesh Aravind, over a dozen actors in Kannada cinema have been introduced by this legendary actor.

Known for social themes in his films and considered as Ustaad` of middle class mass director the creations of KB were bold and mirror to the social life.

The genius of this art field 84 years Kailasam Balachander directed his first Kannada cinema in 1978. It was Thappida Thaala` (it was Thappu Talangal in Tamil). In 1982 he directed Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu` that introduced Suhasini to Kannada and Dr Kamal Haasan played the role of bus conductor that was real life job of Rajanikanth in Bengaluru roads before making it big in Tamil cinema.

The films such as Eradu Rekhegalu` that brought in Geetha and Saritha, Mugila Mallige and Sundara Swapnagalu` is the one that introduced distinction holder in Engineering Ramesh Aravind.

The legends live every after they depart. That is the biggest beauty of this ART field.
