On Sunday, actor Dulquer Salmaan unveiled a new poster of his forthcoming movie ‘Salute’, penning alongside a heartwarming note. Through the post, DQ also indirectly hints that the movie will hit the big screens after the pandemic comes in control.

“Someday when all this passes, we will get back to making movies that you all want to watch. And when you do, maybe, just maybe, for those brief moments it will be like none of this ever happened. #staystrong #staysafe #weshallovercome #thistooshallpass #salute #justalittledistraction,” Dulquer Salmaan wrote.

Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, 'Salute' is a cop thriller that stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role as SI Aravind Karunakaran. Scripted by screenwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay, the movie has Bollywood diva Diana Penty in the female lead alongside Manoj K Jayan and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently waiting for the release of his ambitious film, Kurup, which is inspired by the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup. Kurup is directed by Srinath Rajendran and Vini Vishwa Lal.
