Saloni, whose performance in 'Sarabham' came in for a lot of praise, has played a visually-challenged girl in a short-film, which is aimed at creating awareness on eye donation.

The film, which has cinematography by Arul Vincent, a former associate of P C Sreeram, was entirely shot in Puducherry. Saloni acted in this without any make-up.

"The character in the shot-film demanded natural look. So I stood in front of the camera without any make-up. I played a visually-challenged girl who sells hairclips on roads. We had an amazing time shooting for the shot-film in Puducherry," Saloni says, adding that she has been listening to scripts for feature films.
