When Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan wanted Salman Khan for a special song and dance affair (Wallah Wallah) in 'Tees Maar Khan', the actor readily agreed and finished the song in a jiffy. The best wishes have now been extended for 'Rowdy Rathore' too which is all set to take the best start ever for an Akshay Kumar film and may even break the record of Salman's own 'Dabangg'.

"Salman and Akshay have been around for over two decades now and are healthy competitors. They are over and above petty talks of number game and believe that while ruling from the top, they should always be there for the fraternity. While Salman's great run is continuing with blockbusters like 'Bodyguard', 'Ready' and 'Dabangg', Akshay has rightly acknowledged his stardom. Now with Akshay bouncing back after 'Housefull 2' and the trade anticipating yet another century run at the box office with 'Rowdy Rathore', Salman is wishing good luck to the film as well", informs a common associate.

This happened from the very beginning of the film when Prabhu Deva informed Salman (they had worked in 'Wanted' earlier) about his decision of making 'Rowdy Rathore' with Akshay Kumar.

"When I finalised 'Rowdy Rathore', I informed Salman about it. He told me that he had his best wishes for me and the film. He isn't someone who holds on to his directors. In fact we stay on to be in touch. Whenever and wherever he calls me, I will go", smiles Prabhu Deva.

Now it would be interesting to see if for his third Hindi film, Deva works with either of the two actors or moves on to some other superstar.
