He is 40 something but the script demands him to be half his age. Is it possible? We hear a big NO! And that’s what Salman Khan expressed to his director Anees Bazmee, who is going to direct the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Ready’.

In the original film, the hero had been a 19-yr old college going student. While it was possible for Ram (Telugu actor) to look young, it is something unthinkable in our Salman’s case. Basing this, the actor approached the director and requested him to change the script to suit his age.

The remake is expected to go on floors in mid-June. However Salman was so serious about the rework that he said he would do the shooting only once the script is changed. Finally the director had to consider his request and made alterations in the film. It is said that now Salman will be playing a guy who manages his father’s business, instead of a college student.

According to Anees, they have changed the Hindi version of ‘Ready’ drastically, and for the better. “Salman wasn’t comfortable playing that young a character. He will now play a guy who manages his father’s business. Salman can’t play a college student any longer and he’s sensible enough to admit it,” shared the filmmaker to sources.
