BollywoodÂs macho hunk, Salman Khan would have never imagined in the wildest of his dreams that his one visit to the Sri Lankan capital for the IIFA awards would land himself, his producers and his co-stars in trouble.
The actor, who couldnÂt control his excitement to see all fans screaming his name as there were not much option available for them, even went ahead in questioning Big B for his absence and later tried to cover up by saying, ÂI can understand there might be some important commitments that have stopped some people for coming.Â
The South lobby has taken the stand as they said and banned Hrithik-Barbara starrer ÂKites immediately. Now we hear that actress Asin who is working with Salman in ÂReady is facing problems. A close hand reveals that people are calling Asin on her cell phone and requesting her not to act in this film.
The South Indian Film Federations had protested against the IIFA awards function, held in Colombo. The Sri Lankan Government has invited the producer of ÂReady to shoot this film in Sri Lanka. The movie which was previously planned to be shot in Mauritius will now be shot in Sri Lanka as the government has extended all facilities for the shooting of this film because Salman Khan had participated in the IIFA.
Asin who didnÂt attend the IIFA awards function due to the threat is now in a soup, she is getting calls from people not to work in this film as it stars Salman even though she kept herself away from the award function. Going by this, SalmanÂs appearance in IIFA is causing problems not only for himself but also people associated with the film. His co-stars are getting calls not to work with him, god knows what will happen to his brother Arbaaz KhanÂs film ÂDaabang which stars Salman in negative role and Sonakshi Sinha (veteran actor Shatrighan SinhaÂs daughter) makes her debut with this film.
