Salman, NTR, Mahesh, Balayya: Keeping everyone guessing

Of late, more than 'ISM', Puri Jagannadh's alleged next project(s) have been making news. The reason is that the never-say-let-me-relax Puri has been leaving no stone unturned to finalize a project at the earliest. In the recent IndiaGlitz interview, the ace director couldn't have been franker when he said that he doesn't like to wait for any hero. "Whoever hero is ready to work with me, I will go ahead. It's not in my character to say I don't have a choice if a hero doesn't respond," Puri added.
Following the release of 'ISM', the director hasn't confirmed the much-in-news film with NTR. Meanwhile, PJ got in touch with Salman Khan, all the way by going to Mumbai, to make a proposal for the remake of 'ISM'. Can we assume that this is because NTR is non-committal? Very unlikely, as the super-fast Puri will have done with NTR's film before Salman's film goes to the floor.
Be that as it may, it's also widely speculated that Balakrishna could be one of Puri's next heroes. In the course of a conversation with Balayya the other day, Ram Gopal Varma is learnt to have suggested that he listen to a particular story written by Puri. The story is learnt to be high on patriotism. That reminds one of 'Jana Gana Mana', the patriotic title of Mahesh's next with the director. What are the chances that RGV was talking about the same to Balayya? It's anybody's guess
