Salman nods for Hindi remake of 'Rogue'

Looks like we are in for yet another energetic remake of a Puri Jagannadh film, thanks to Salman Khan. A few years ago, Sallu bhai reinvented his career when he did 'Wanted', the commercially gargantuan remake of the Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Pokiri'. Since then, the Bollywood actor has maintained a healthy rapport with our own Puri Jagannadh. The way Puri writes his hero's characters always suits energetic actors.
We learn that the 'Sultan' of Bollywood has liked the story of the yet-to-be-released Puri movie 'Rogue', so much so, he wants it to be remade into Hindi with Suraj Pancholi as the hero. (For the uninitiated, Suraj is the son of Aditya Pancholi and Zareena Wahab).
"A team of writers are working on Hindi remake of 'Rogue' and it will go onto floors soon," a source tells us.
