According to the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor, he always had a desire to meet the "Missile Man" however due to circumstances was not able to do so. Now that Kalam sir is no more, Salman regrets that he should have tried to meet him earlier. "When your heart says you should meet someone, don't delay. I always wanted to meet Kalam saab and I should have made the effort. My loss," tweeted Salman, who went on to express his grief thus, "I will miss Kalam saab. India will miss him."

Through several tweets, Salman called Kalam saab a true inspiration and amazing teacher. The actor currently is busy with 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', followed by 'Sultan'.
