Taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission seriously, B-Town superstar Salman Khan rolled up his pants and took a broom to clean the town. Mr.Modi had nominated the actor for the campaign, following which Salman got down to the cleaning work in Karjat.

Proving his actions, Salman had also posted few pics on his social networking site and wrote, "I started with Karjat yesterday. Yeh Dekho photos". Also seen in the photos are Salman's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manoj Joshi.

Seeing the photos, Mr.Modi not only shared the pics on his social networking page but also appreciated Salman for his efforts by tweeting "The effort by @BeingSalmanKhan is a significant one that will inspire several people to join Swachh Bharat Mission. #MyCleanIndia."

Thanking for the same, Salman had posted on his social networking site thus: "I once again thank Narendra Modi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me."

Nominating few celebrities for this mission, Salman further wrote: "I nominate the following for Swachh Bharat campaign and request them to further nominate 9 more people.First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Each one of us can make a difference. And I nominate Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma, Rajinikanth & Vineet Jain."
