Over the past decade, the YRF Spy Universe has emerged as the most prominent franchise in Indian Cinema with an impeccable track record of blockbusters. Aditya Chopra embarked on the Spy Film journey with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, followed by its sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. The momentum persisted with War in 2019, and then Pathaan in 2023, which introduced an interconnected universe with the appearance of Tiger from the YRF Universe in the SRK-starrer.
The forthcoming Tiger 3 is set to feature Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan in this highly anticipated action venture. But there’s an exciting development within the YRF Spy Universe-Hrithik Roshan, known as Kabir from the War franchise, is also lined up for an appearance in Tiger 3.
Aditya Chopra has been orchestrating a comprehensive convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe. The exact vision for Kabir's role in Tiger 3 is being kept confidential and will be unveiled upon the movie's release on November 12, 2023.
Tiger 3 will see Salman and Katrina reprising their roles as Tiger and Zoya, contending with the formidable antagonist Aatish, portrayed by Emraan Hashmi. The film is all set to hit the screens on Sunday, November 12, 2023. YRF aims to assemble a trio of iconic spies -Tiger, Pathaan, and Kabir - in one film, creating the potential for further crossovers and intertwining timelines in the future.
This monumental confluence of Salman, SRK, and Hrithik in one film is a cause for celebration among cinephiles. Kabir's inclusion in Tiger 3 is just the beginning of an intriguing journey within this universe. Following Tiger 3, the franchise moves ahead with War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, where Hrithik Roshan returns in a pivotal role. The film is set to feature a clash between Hrithik's Kabir and NTR Jr., with Kiara Advani as the female lead. As for Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, advance bookings will open on Sunday, November 5.
