Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film 'Lucifer' was a huge hit and there's a huge possibility that it might get remade in Bollywood. Before that happens, 'Lucifer' is getting a Telugu remake and it's going to star superstar Chiranjeevi in the lead. Like most big budget films these days, makers are hoping to give it a pan Indian appeal and they have reportedly roped in Salman Khan for a part in the movie.

The project has the working title of 'God Father' and it's going to be a political thriller. NV Prasad and Ram Charan are going to bankroll it while Mohan Raja will be the director. The film was officially launched a little while ago and the shoot will soon start in Hyderabad.

An online news portal has reported that makers wanted Salman for an extended cameo in the film and Chiranjeevi himself persuaded the actor for it. Reports also suggests that Salman has given his verbal nod to the project. Salman has been offered the role which was originally played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, who also directed 'Lucifer'.
