When the song hit the web, it became instant hit with its quirky lyrics but also the fact that it shows B-Town’s two most happening superstars. We are referring to the title track of ‘Fugly’ - "Yeh Fugly Fugly Kya Hai" - featuring its producer Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. But recently (13th June) when the film got released, audience were disappointed to see the song missing. Neither was it played in the movie nor in the end title. When asked on this, makers stated that the song was a special number meant for promotional way. However sources seem to have different story.

There is a wide speculation that the ‘Dabangg’ star is unhappy with it and asked the makers of ‘Fugly’ co-producer Ashwini Yardi and director Kabir Sadanand to remove the track. Reason: Sallu miyaan felt that Akki has taken more of the limelight in the song. Moreover even while shooting the track, Salman said to have walked out of the sets citing same issue. Now that the film has released, talks are that Salman wanted the makers to screen the film without the special song.

Meanwhile, seeing this absence of musical flavour, audience seem to have called it foul and are very angry that the makers have cheated them with a bogus publicity.

However, Yardi have stood firm on her statement and clarified that the song was irrelevant to ‘Fugly’ which is "a content-driven film based on burning issues of our society. The song did not fit into the film."
