Salman Khan: Court to decide on visit to Dubai

Will he fly to Dubai or not.. decision on Salman Khan's travel plea will be taken today by single judge vacation bench of the Bombay High court. The actor had moved to High Court after returning back from Bajrangi Bhaijaan's shooting in Kashmir, seeking permission to fly to Dubai.

It must be recalled that Salman Khan has confirmed his presence at the Arab Indo Bollywood awards in Dubai happening on May 29.

Salman is hopeful of getting the permission to travel as according to sources from the legal department the verdict on his hit and run case has not taken away his liberty to travel and the actor is free to apply for the permission whenever he wants to. The court shall deal with it according to the law.

On May 8, Salman Khan was granted on fresh bail after court suspended five years jail sentence in 2002 hit and run case. The actor was convicted under all charges including under Section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code (rash and negligent driving); 279 (rash driving); 337 (causing minor injuries); 338 (causing major injuries) 427 (negligence) in connection with the case. The court had asked Salman to seek for permission every time he goes out of India. The petition for the permission has been taken by the court and is likely to be announced today.
