Salman Khan was reportedly bitten on his hand thrice by a snake at his Panvel farmhouse on Saturday night and was immediately taken to a hospital in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai.
The actor was discharged on Sunday morning and is currently doing fine. Narrating the incident, Salman Khan reportedly said, “A snake had entered my farmhouse, I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice. It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalized for 6 hours...I am fine now.” Meanwhile, Dr Kuldeep Salgotra, who treated Salman, had informed, “Two teams of doctors are with Salman Khan and his health is fine.”
Soon after his discharge, Salman celebrated his 56th birthday in the presence of family and friends. The actor recently announced the sequel to his 2015 blockbuster film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan and starring Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra.
